I truly enjoyed this very entertaining story set in Memphis, TN in the s. It's well-written, thoughtful, and engaging with the flavor of the day nicely woven into this look at a young woman who is blessed with the gift of card-reading--whether she wants it or not. Also, there is a blossoming romance.
